Côtes de Provence Rosé AOC « en caractère »
This wine comes from various clay limestone terroirs in the BANDOL coastal basin; it is made by our partner who has been making our “India ” cuvee since 1998!
This is a rosé wine made predominantly from the traditional local grape Mourvèdre using the saignée method (giving color and power) and from Cinsault (contributes elegance) and Syrah using direct pressing (for smoothness and flavor) with an added touch of Vermentino.
Grapes are totally de-stemmed.
Traditionally vinified at low temperature.
Matured 6 months in vats.
This rosé wine is filtered and fined (no malolactic fermentation).
